good breakfast modern room nice pub small plates oldish furniture creaking floor
The breakfast was good. It had a good choice and tasted very tasty. The room was modern and very clean, I stayed in room 122. The Orrest Head Pub is located next door. It was a nice little pub to relax in.
The furniture felt oldish. It lacked hooks for towels. I could hear neighbours upstairs. The hall floor creaked on the 1st floor, too.

brick wall loud noise
the breakfast was acceptable.
i was quite disappointed with the room i received. it had a view of a brick wall and a down spout, so the sound of rain was loud (it made sleeping difficult).

buffet choice good shower central location
The breakfast buffet had a good choice of items. I found the shower had good pressure. The staff was nice. I liked how the hotel is opposite the train station. It made getting around easy.
My room's decor was a little old.

an okay stay
clean room heated rail dated room thin walls
i stayed in a superior twin room. it was large and clean. the shower was excellent and included a heated towel rail.
the room felt dated. the walls seemed thin and i could hear people talking in other rooms.

helpful staff own parking strange smell unclean loos
The staff was very helpful. i liked that the hotel has its own parking. This is very convenient (especially when travelling with a car).
the reception area smelled a bit strange. i also noticed that the loos in the main reception were not very clean.
